David Phelps was my favorite of the Gaither Vocal Band members with that great tenor of his. In a word, he is “AWESOME”!!!!!

David Phelps has an amazing voice and this CD includes many old Christmas standards as well as songs he has written which will become standards in time. My only quibble with this CD is that the sound lacks the quality of a studio-produced album. Recorded at a live concert in his barn, I have to adjust the sound for many of the songs. Otherwise, it’s a wonderful CD.

There is just no one who sings quite like David. This is a great DVD. I am so glad he is back with the Gaither Vocal Band. I would suppose that he will still do some solo recordings as well. Though my years on this earth have been many, I see very few singers that move me so much. To me, he is just part of the Gaither family. You will most likely enjoy this Christmas album.

His performance of “O Holy Night” must be one of the most powerful performances of that song that one could experience

I saw David Phelps in concert in the 80’s. I thought he was awesome then and he just keeps getting better. His love of the Lord shines brightly through this CD. Love It!!!!
